Appearance: Felicia is 5'10" and weighs 120 lbs. Her hair is platinum blond and her eyes are green. Felicia is a stunningly beautiful woman with a muscular, yet slender figure. As Felicia, her attire can be anything from a t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers to a beautiful dress and heels. As Black Cat, she wears a black body-suit with black boots and black gloves that feature retractable claws. There is "white fur" on the bottom of her gloves, behind her boots, and on the chest area of her suit. She also wears a black eyemask.

Personality: As a lady among the social elite, she knows when to be lady-like, sweet, and charming. As the Black Cat, she's as sexy and tough as she wants to be. Though she has committed her share of crimes, she hardly possessed the heart of a criminal. She is noble and will do what's right when it comes down to it. She just might need a little help along the way.

Powers:
Probability Field Manipulation: The Black Cat is imbued with a genuine ability to cause "bad luck" by scientists working for the Kingpin through a bargain made with him. This power allowed her to subliminally affect probability fields, which would cause improbable, though not impossible, events of "bad luck" to occur to enemies within her line of sight. Those powers were removed from her for a while by Dr. Strange so they won't hurt those she loves, but they were restored by Mister Negative's scientist, Doc Tramma, which gave her more control over them than ever.

Expert Thief: Felicia is a skilled (somewhat reformed) thief skilled in stealth, picking locks, escapeology, evading alarms and cracking safes.

Olympic Level Athlete: She has reflexes, agility, and stamina of an Olympic level acrobat. She is physically very strong and athletic and has great physical endurance.

Olympic Acrobat: Felicia is particularly a skilled acrobat capable of many difficult feats.

Skilled Martial Artist: She has been trained in several martial arts; most notably Goju-ryu Karate and Judo which she specializes in. Felicia is capable of taking on several armed assailants and incapacitating them without being injured herself. Her strength and, when pushed too far, ferocity in battle has proven to be overwhelming enough to defeat the mutant assassin known as Sabretooth.

Personal History:
Felicia Hardy's father, Walter Hardy aka The Cat, was one of the world's most famous Cat-Burglars. In their time together, Walter encouraged Felicia to never be second best. Felicia went on to excel in both academia and athletics because of this advice. A bright future was tainted though when a man named Ryan, saved her from being raped in college, only to force himself upon her. Tired of being the victim, she vowed to get revenge on Ryan by murdering him, but before she could do, he was killed in a car accident.

Since she couldn't steal the life of the one who stole hers, she became reckless. She decided to follow in her father's footsteps and took on the persona of the Black Cat. Quickly catching on the thieves' game, she quickly amassed a fortune just as her father did. However, when she met Spiderman during an attempt to break her father out of prison, things changed again. First, her disdain for men changed as she felt a common bond with the hero, eventually falling in love with him. Second, she reconsidered her life of crime. While not completely giving up said life, she was less reckless and often stole for noble purposes. Black Cat is now a full ally of Spiderman, despite the two not seeing eye-to-eye on everything.

The Black Cat quietly made her way up the fire escape until she reached the window of a wealthy mobster named Tony Washington. The lights were out and Tony was seemingly snoozing in his bedroom. Using her retractable claws, she cut a whole in the window's glass, reached in, and unlocked it. Creeping in, she quickly discovered the safe. Listing to the tumblers, she unlocked it as well and retrieved the antique pocketwatch inside. She studied it for a moment, then was about to leave when Tony woke up to catch up. Calling in his men who were playing poker in the next apartment, the mobsters ran to attack her.

"You fellas are lucky," she said. "This little kitty is in the mood for a little action tonight." She then went to work on them with a series of kicks, taking the henchmen down before baring her claws in a frightened Tony's face. "Uh-uh-uuuuuh. You're gonna be a good boy and stay put... 'cause kitty might bite and scratch."

Tony had done so, and later that night, Felicia Hardy made her way to Central Park to visit a kind old newsdealer. The pocketwatch belonged to him, and was taken because Washington claimed he owed protection money. Felicia had witnessed the theft and of course had to do something about. The old man was so grateful, both for the watch and the kiss on the cheek Felicia gave him. It had been a good night for Ms. Bad Luck.
