Hello, and welcome to Tomorrow is Today. In this thread, we'll be going over the rules and such so that you can have an enjoyable experience on our site.
- Of course, all the general stuff that applies to RP sites applies here as well. Bullying won't be tolerated, God-modding, Power Gaming, Meta-Gaming, and general poor RP conduct is a very easy way to get in trouble with the staff.
- Respect. It's a big thing that affects how people interact with one another. If you can't respect each other, like the adults we expect you to be, then you will be asked to leave.
- Be professional. If you can't even accomplish that, the admin will ban you personally. We all expect people to take criticism gracefully, whether or not it was asked for. Naturally, destructive criticism will be handled like any other case of bullying, and offenders will be punished accordingly.
- PG-13. That is the rating of the site that we give you. Which means that all content posted to this site need to be able to be deemed appropriate for a movie with this same rating, this means no graphic blood or gore, and no explicit sex scenes. If you MUST, then please exercise the fade to black method before things get too steamy.
- As an intermediate-advanced level site for role-play, this means that when someone posts we expect a certain level of quality. That means we expect posts to be thought-out, detailed, and coherent, when written. Don't be intimidated, and if you need help feel free to ask our staff for some assistance. Remember that posts don't need to be any particular length to be considered good, but sometimes excessive length can be a bit much, just as underwhelming length can be frustrating.
- We don't enforce word counts, or even paragraph minimums, on this site. This is because the staff believes that posts can be quality, when short or lengthy. So long as you give us a good mental image of what's going on. Of course, a suggested area is at least two reasonably sized paragraphs or more, as most people can usually knock out that much without much effort, while still making a decent post.
- Active posters are something that we expect from people who take characters. We have no character limits, but we expect you to be posting actively. If an AC comes around and you haven't been posting a satisfactory amount without any reason for posted why in the leave of absence board.
