A character application is necessary in order for you to be able to play a character on our site. This acts as both a reference for other players who are unfamiliar with your character, and allows the staff to know that you are familiar enough with the desired character to post a profile about them.
Any character within the DC canon is allowed to be applied for, so long as they can fit within the Young Justice canon. Young Justice is a very in-depth and unique world, in which science and magic are both active forces in the universe, thus meaning that characters of all shapes and sizes are able to fit in. The timeline can make the fitting of certain people within the canon, but if you ask the admin some type of arrangement can be made to fit that particular individual in. So far there is a small list of characters who are not permitted to be applied unless certain situational rules are met.
The first step is copying the code for the application template and pasting it to a post *duh*, followed by filling the subject line with the character's name, and whether or not it is a work in progress, or complete. (Ex. Terry McGinnis // Batman Beyond [WIP])
Afterwards, fill out the information that is requested in the template itself and make sure that the subject line is filled out to tell the staff that your application is complete.
If a staff member reads your application, and finds it to be lacking, or incorrect, in certain information they will promptly post a reply outlining the issues with it and request that you move to repair it. Once two staff members read and determine that your application is satisfactory, they will move your application from pending to completed and you will be 90% of the way to being able to portray your character in posts.
First you need to stop by claims and post in the Who-is-Who, additionally the face claims thread, so that the staff can update this. Following, if your character carries notable equipment outside of their costumes, you need to post in the equipment logs, so that you don't have to waste paragraphs of typing on relaying that your character carries "batarangs and grappling hooks" all the time. This is really a time-saver and you can still switch up equipment, this is just for the very constant stuff that should be assumed to be on that person.
