(Posting order: Enigma Beyond Spoiler Batgirl)
With Edward Nigma back in Arkham, his supposed daughter find herself scheming on her own once again. Well, not necessarily on her own. Before he was sent away, The Riddler had his two henchwomen, Echo and Query, watch over Enigma like gun-toting babysitters. The two were loyal to Riddler, and had a soft spot for the kid, so they would follow Enigma's orders... no matter how odd they were. And the current orders were to spray paint green riddles on the side of Gotham Town Hall for all to see.
With a gleeful smile, Enigma watched as the two women sprayed out the two riddles:
Why does a fireman wear suspenders?
Which president had the biggest head?
With the riddles up, it was time to execute the crime, and Enigma felt that this time her riddle clues would completely baffle the Bat-Family. Smirking she spun her question-mark cane... until it flew off and broke a window.
"......Oops," she said as she went to grab it. She then smiled with a blush at Echo and Query. "Come on, ladies! There's a crime to conduct! The first of my Conundrum Crimes!!! Daddy will be so proud!!!"
And with that, the trio hoped into a nearby van and headed away, leaving the graffiti behind for Enigma's foes.

Terry had been around Gotham for a while now, usually moving between the city and the little base that he'd made for himself in DC. It was a pretty good system, and he had yet to really be noticed by the local populace, heroic or otherwise. Maybe it was because of the population shifts, people were so distracted that they weren't looking quite as closely when someone that looks like a bat saves them.
Of course, the clone wasn't complaining. He knew that it means he was able to stay off of the original's radar for just that much longer while he tried to figure out what to do. It was more than a bit awkward, being stuck as a clone with no REAL place in the world. His made up name had been enough for him to be able to get around, but soon he'd need to get a way to live more legitimately before they threw him in jail for cadmus to find him again.
While passing by the town hall, Project Beyond came upon Gotham Town Hall painted with words on them. Stopping in front of them, Terry stood in front of the building wearing a puzzled expression on his face. Biggest President's head? Suspenders on a Fire Fighter? These seemed like some of the most pointless questions the young man had been asked in his entire life. Even if that wasn't really saying much. Without paying attention, Terry had managed to be staring at the graffiti for way longer than he should have been.

Spoiler loved when Batman let her patrol. It made her feel tough and confident. Most of all, it made her truly like one of the family. She also knew Batgirl would be out patrolling with her that night, and that always excited her. Steph loved her Babs so much.
Riding up on her motorcycle, she caught sight of the riddles. Parking, she approached them, her head tilting and a curious look on her face behind the Spoiler mask. Her first thought was "The Riddler", but the riddles were so...goofy. Riddler's were always very complex and to be taken seriously. Still, she would solve these quickly and try to figure out what the answers meant. It didn't take long to figure them out for one as keen as Stephanie Brown.
"A fireman has suspenders...to hold up his pants just like anyone else who would have them," she chuckled. "And the president with the biggest head... was the one with the biggest hat. Hold up...biggest hat. OH!" She then got on her comlink and called Batgirl.
"Batgirl, Spoiler," she said. "I'm like 98.5% sure there is going to be a hold up at the Black Derby Restaurant." The restaurant, beloved by the wealthy of Gotham, was famous for the big Black Derby outside of it. Spoiler was about to join her when she spotted the strange...Bat Guy looking at the riddles. Approaching, she grabbed her Spoilerang just in case.
"Um...hi," she said. "Do I know you?"

The riddles were pretty much completely over Terry's head, the premise of the illogical questions completely alluding the young man. Part of the training was knowing of Batman's villains, Riddler was among those that he knew about, but he hadn't really been trained in any depth on handling complex questions like this. They had explained that it wasn't something they could just program into the clone like just about all of the academic information they had given him, it would require years of practicing and simply learning to think in this abstract manner.
He had been drawn so far into his own head, that Terry failed to even notice Spoiler come up, answer the questions, and make her call to Batgirl. It was when she spoke to him directly, projecting somewhat in the process, that the clone was alerted to the young woman's presence and prompted him to look over. As Project Beyond turned his head in Spoiler's direction, his peripheral vision caught sight of the weapon in her hand. His next actions were complete instinct that had been ingrained by the training and programming Terry had underwent.
Bending his wrist inward, activate the trigger in his suit that shot one of his batarang in collapsed form into his hand. In a snapping motion his hand immediately returned to its natural position, parallel to the rest of his forearm, as the small weapon flew into his hand and into the fighter's fingers. Placing pressure on the end of the small device with his thumb and forefinger, that released the two "wings" from inside of it and create the full form.
Flinging the weapon that seemingly appeared from nowhere like a shuriken star, the batarang made a sound of blades slicing the air as it spun and flew directly for Spoiler's mask.
Not wasting a moment, Terry protracted his claws and flew forward in a black flash of movement ready to attack, and already aiming a follow-up attack at the young woman. The attacks, while obviously skilled and practiced, lacked some of the depth that the original Batman that came from years of using against real people and real fighters.

Spoiler swiftly dodged the weapon that could have ceased her existence. She popped back up and saw him ready to attack. Whoever this was, he obviously one who didn't take Batman's advice. He tried to frakkin' kill her! A new villain to go along with Enigma perhaps? The way he had stared at the riddles though made Steph feel he wasn't working with the Riddler's daughter. Spoiler posed for battle herself, but wanted to know who this guy was before she threw down with him.
"Alright, before you and I fight, are you here to start trouble or prevent it?" she said. "Because if want to start it, we need to get this over with. If you want to prevent it, then I'm bailing to stop an actual criminal with my buddy Batgirl. You can do you crazy superheroing somewhere else, you nuthead!" Steph continued to prep herself for a fight.
She did notice something peculiar about him though. The suit looked like one of those Bruce had been playing with. Did this guy know about what Batman was working on. If so, had Bruce not been telling the family something? Then again, she had heard of people arriving from other dimensions. Maybe this was a more violent version of Batman. She hoped not because if he was as tough as Bruce, and a villain, she wouldn't be going after Bruce any time soon.

Terry noted that Spoiler was able to deflect his weapon, no small feat considering that the attack essentially came from nowhere and that the projectile itself would have been going VERY fast.
This one had a costume that was clearly designed to hide her identity, and the small weapon in her own hand that bore resemblance to his, she was clearly associated with the original. So she was clearly a hero or villain of some type, but whether or not he should keep going for an attack was a conundrum. The mask and overall costume still made the clone feel iffy, though, as it didn't bear any real resemblance to Batman's Batgirl's, or even Robin's.
Her next words allowed Project Beyond a better idea of whether or not he should trust her. Un-tensing his muscles, slightly, as she asked him the question, but not completely releasing the stance he stood in just in case it was an attempt at trickery. "Not either in particular actually," he replied with the tone of his voice lower and more gruff than it was naturally, "I just was around and came upon this little scene next to us."
Terry didn't let her comment on his methods being crazy phase him too much. The actions were second-nature to him, and far from something he could really help. It was essentially scripted into his brain, there was no pain in his dojo, there was no mercy in his dojo.... Where'd that come from?
After a few more long drawn minutes of the two being poised to attack one another with no real move to back down, Terry broke the silence by asking, "what's so fascinating that you have to stare at me for half an hour?" The young man was not really used to being looked at for long stretches of time and it did unnerve hi slightly to have this woman doing just that.

Okay, well this guy wasn't overly evil, that was for sure, unless he was putting on some act. Spoiler's growing detective skill told her he was legit though. Stepping closer, but cautiously, she listened to him, and did feel a bit embarrassed that she was eying him for so long.
"Well...thing is it was because you look like... well you sort of remind me of Batman," she said. "Only not as bit and from your voice...younger. But look, I'm not here to harm you or anything. I am one of the good guys... er girls around here. My name's Spoiler. I work with Batman and his fam... allies. But I need to split from here. I have meet Batgirl and fight the one responsible for those riddles. It's a young criminal who used to work with Young Justice, a team I'm on. She tries to be like her dad and makes riddles that turn out to be clues. Those tell me she's going to hold up the Black Derby Restaurant. If you want to tag along, we could use an extra hand. If not, I need to go and... well nice talking to you and I hope we meet again."
She didn't wait for him to say yes or no to her offer. Batman would lecture her all night for that. Every second counted when stopping a crime and Steph had took up enough time already talking to the new...Bat...guy. Getting on her motorcycle, she drove off, alerting Batgirl again on her wrist communicator.
"Hey Batgirl, I'm on my way," she said. "Had a run in with an very interesting guy. I'll tell you about after we take down Enigma... unless you end up getting to meet him. Anyway, I'm almost at the Black Derby. Spoiler out!"

The orange haired girl walked out her room and right out the front door, pushing a button on her phone she began to run, shortly a few blocks away was her bike, slipping on her mask and pulling off her clothes reveling her bat costom putting her clothes under the seat she jumped on and drove off. "Batgirl, Spoiler, I'm like 98.5% sure there is going to be a hold up at the Black Derby Restaurant." Barbara pushed on her bat com to reply. "Ok, ill check it out in a moment, i have a thug fight on the corner of 5th ave and plat street."
parking the bike she walked in to the shadows and headed up to the group of thugs. "So boys who wants a go with Batgirl?" the first thug ran at her and she took him out with ease, the next two also took the ease. placing the three of the men tied up hanging of a roof. Jumping back on her bike she started it up. "Hey Batgirl, I'm on my way,Had a run in with an very interesting guy. I'll tell you about after we take down Enigma... unless you end up getting to meet him. Anyway, I'm almost at the Black Derby. Spoiler out!"
Barbara smiled "Ok Spoiler, maybe we could go to hang out around the cave and eat cookies. i miss home baked cookies." once Spoiler ended the com she stopped the bike and hid on the roof, watching black derby restaurant with her night vision goggles. everything seemed to be ok until she noticed that something wasn't right. she waited for spoiler to come in before she made any moves, this was spoilers gig and she would only assist if it deemed necessary. she new Stephanie needed some more training and she was always glad to assist. this new figure did spark interest in babs but she would figure it out later.

"You know with our resources, we could hit up a bank or a fancy jewelry store instead of Club Snooty here," said Echo. "If you want to impress your dad, then you have to go big time, kiddo. Tell you what, why don't you let Query and I pick the next of your Conundrum Crimes?"
"What do ya mean this isn't big time!" said Enigma. "This is a rich people restaurant. Did you see the menu? Thirty-five bucks for a steak ala carte! People pay the serious cash to chow down in here! We're going to make a mint! As for my other Conundrum Crimes, you know you both can't plan those for me. My clever new riddles will, hence WHY they are called the Conundrum Crimes! Haha!"
The money was collected and Enigma and her dad's henchwomen were out the door and on their way to the big green van. She then stopped and her eyes widened.
"I almost forgot to leave my riddles!" she said, blushing after she just went on about that. She ran in and taped the piece of paper with the riddles on it on the manager's head:
How many sides does a circle have?
What sits in a tree and is very dangerous?

The moment in which Terry's muscles began to relax passed fairly quickly. With Spoiler's cautious approach, the Tomorrow Knight's muscles immediately re-tensed in response to the young woman drawing nearer. Her pointing out that he bore a resemblance to Batman made sense, the hero was a clone of the original after all, and the sharing of appearance was certainly much further than mask-deep.
"And I'm not here to harm anyone who isn't a criminal girly," the clone said with an edge in his voice just before she introduced her name. It wasn't the most friendly way in the world to talk to someone, but he didn't really have that much patience for new people, lacking any real experience with others. He decided to abstain from introducing himself, the only real names he had being either classified or a "secret" identity. Not bothering to answer her as she departed for the diner, Project Beyond answered her question with actions, and even showed off a bit in the process.
Taking a quick leap onto a nearby brick wall and propelling himself into the air and positioning himself to get started. Unfurling his wings from beneath his arms, Terry then followed by activating the rockets in his boots and began flying off after Spoiler's motorcycle at a speed that matched hers.
Within minutes the two arrived at the Black Derby, Terry deactivated his boots, and landed not far from the other heroes. Immediately recognizing the new third figure as Batgirl, he took a quick scan of the young woman, and determined that the woman wasn't any real concern in terms of getting in the way. While Batgirl wasn't willing to give Spoiler the assistance, Beyond was more than willing to do so since this little outing has already started one way and he intended to finish it up.

Spoiler rode up to the Black Derby on her cycle, but before she was able to dismount it, she looked in the distance. She not only spotted Enigma, but Echo and Query as well, getting into a van and driving off. Spoiler then showed her slight inexperience. Without alerting Batgirl or looking to see if her potential new ally had decided to show up, she drove after the van. She figured that unlike the Riddler, Enigma would be easy to catch. She was easy to defeat the last time they two had fought after all. However, Steph didn't take two things into account- 1) Enigma had been learning the game from the best and 2) Enigma was accompanied by two women who knew the crime game very well, and were not your average goons.
Echo spotted Spoiler in her review mirror and summoned Query. The back of the van then opened, and in Query's hand was a puzzle cube. Query gave it two twists, then tossed it at Spoiler. When the cube untwisted once, it blew out a smoke that covered Spoiler, her cycle, and the area around her. Steph was just able to react to that before the cube twisted again and exploded, sending her and her cycle flying. Spoiler had a few seconds to think, and decided to try out a new toy she and Tim had been working on. She removed a purple pellet from her belt and threw it at the ground as she rapidly made her way there herself. The pellet hit and inflated into a makeshift landing pad. Spoiler landed on it, but was only relieved at no broken bones for a moment, as she spotted what became of her beloved Spoiler Cycle.
"Aw...poop!" she said.

Barbara turned to look at the strange bat suited man and glared at him, and with in a blink of an eye she was gone and right next to Stephanie the next. "I think your friend followed you here spoiler, and im sorry about your bike, we will fix it up together ok, we can add some more cool stuff to it." smiling she checked over the girl with her eyes making sure she was not hurt. Stephanie was the closest thing Barbara had to a younger sister and she wasn't really to keen on letting her get hurt.
"Spoiler, i would like you to lead us though this mission ok, I have your back and im here to help if you need me, i will be your sidekick for the night. help you with your leadership skills." with that said barbara hopes she was doing the right thing. looking up at the other figure she was wondering on who that really was. she knew for a fact that it wasnt bruce, and dick didnt run around looking like the bat.
This how ever would have to wait. As the two went inside she looked around for clues and such. "Spoiler over here, the manager has a note on his head." lightly takeing the note off and handing it to stephanie she began to untie the poor man and helping him up. "It was that crazy riddlers daughter, that little girl is nothing but a mennis. i hope you heroes put her in her spot in arkham next to her crazy father."
(OOC: Barbara believes it would be a good learning thing for her, so barbara is willing to help and trust me she will but on Stephanies orders, shes getting stephanie ready to take over the batgirl name when its her turn. ^o^)

Terry did stop for a moment to see if Spoiler had actually been injured by the crash, and after making the observation that she was okay ENOUGH, he walked away from the two and into the restaurant. It may have come across as rude, but he didn't waste time mincing words with a Batgirl that was intent on ignoring him. He had already been studying the note when the two entered the establishment. He shot a glare towards Batgirl when she took the piece of paper, and it prompted him to walk towards Spoiler and look at the writing from over her shoulder so he could continue to study it.
The contents of the paper were completely beyond him, but he still wanted to try and help. One thing they didn't teach at Cadmus was how to handle riddles, an oversight, considering that one of his future villains as Batman would use riddles as a primary source of clue-leaving.
"What does all this gobbledygook even mean in plain English?" Terry finally inquired to the other hero. The odd word-usage wasn't really that odd to the clone, but, it wasn't necessarily odd to him when it came to using the words that the labs programmed into him. A fat lot of good all this academic knowledge did for the young man, though. Riddles were a thing that required thinking abilities that the hero simply lacked and couldn't wrap his head around. It was a frustrating situation, so this was a weakness that McGinnis would have to work on in the future.
