Well, the trio had made it into the Asylum, that trio being Enigma and her two "babysitters" Echo and Query. All three were dressed as government inspectors. When it was noticed by the staff that Enigma looked a bit too young, a simple cold glare and a threat to tell the government of their "bias" shut them up. Now it was time to get their way in to see Edward Nigma and work from there. The three "inspectors" asked to interview an inmate in private to see how they were being treated there. They picked Edward of course and went into a room to await their "meeting" with him.
The guards then headed to the Riddler's cell. Stepping in, one looked at him.
"Alright, Nigma, chit-chat time," he said. "Three ladies from the governor's officer wants to ask her how much you like it here. You play nice and don't tell a bunch of lies about your friendly staff here, and who knows, one of the head honchos might let you out early. Now move it."
In the meeting room, Echo and Query crossed their arms and looked at Enigma.
"So, what exactly is your plan to get Eddie out?" asked Echo. Enigma smiled and pulled out a green cube. She tried to spin it on her finger, but accidentally dropped it. Query's eyes widened and she caught it before it hit the floor.
"If that's what I think it is, you better be damn glad you didn't drop it, kiddo," said Query. Enigma blushed, but said nothing.

Riddler was sitting in his cell. Good thing he was sent to an insane asylum, and not a prison. Those animals would try, and beat him up to show there more powerful then him. Most people were in physical power, but not mental. The worst thing that could happen here would be Joker's continuos laughter, and waking everyone one up in the middle of the night. He was lying in his bed. Thinking. Just thinking. It's always a good thing to strategize in your off time. Most of the time it would be death traps, and ways how to kill Batman Aka Bruce wayne. He would never tell anyone the heroes identity. Hell Riddler would be the only one to discover them. Even Enigma wouldn't be able to discover it.
Right as he was about to go on he was interrupted by the guard. "All right Larry. you don't need to worry. I'm a good prisoner. Unlike most of the guards here. Which includes you Larry." He said as the guard grabbed his collar and dragged him to the room.
"Wait how many did you say, and what did they look like?"
"3. Two tall ones, and a small one. The small one has red hair, and the two tall ones have black, and blonde hair."
"Thank you." He walked into the room as he sat down, and picked up the phone. "So tell me what did you bring for me this time? Tell me it will be something fun." He said as he looked towards his 3 lovely girls. Query, and Echo faithful to the end, and even if Enigma wasn't his real daughter she was very useful in a lot of things.

Enigma had Echo and Query double-check to make sure the meeting was indeed private. The two looked about for both guards and cameras. No guards and the cameras were off. The staff probably didn't want to enrage the governor by not complying with the wishes of his supposed inspectors. Once that was done, Enigma beamed at the Riddler.
"Heya Dad!" she said. "I brought one of your favorite toys... a trick puzzle cube! Echo and Query helped me with the added adjustments." She knew her dad would know what the puzzle cube would do. One twist would fire a gas. Another twist would fire a laser. And finally, a third twist would activate a timed explosive. "We have the van out back. Once you activate this baby, we'll be there to pick you up!" Query then slipped the cube through the small opening between the two, and Echo slipped in a pill that would ensure her boss would not feel the effects of the puzzle cube's gas.
"Did I do good, dad?" beamed Enigma. "Oh and I have a riddle I can leave behind. It's a really good one! What is big enough to hold a pig, but small enough to hold in your hand? The answer is pen and our current hideout is the Penn Station Transit Stop! We'll totally confuse the Bat! Cool, huh?" She really hoped he would be impressed with her getting the riddle/clue game down. At least, she assumed she did.

He always enjoyed Enigma's enthusiasm all though she didn't quite get the Riddler game. At least she was trying. Hey she at least got the gadgets part right. And made sure to double check everything. Always pays to be prepared. "Heya sweetheart." He said towards Enigma. He looked closely at the trick cube, it was a pretty simple device. Spin 3 times, and stand back. A device even a simpleton could use, and most of the time he gave them to his Henchmen other than Query, and Echo. Sometimes he would want more smarter henchmen in Gotham, but everyday was a land of opportunity. It could happen one of these days.
"So let me guess what would if I spin it. First time, looking at the pill, some sort of gas. Second time some sort of cutting mechanism a tiny buzz saw, or a lazer, and thirdly the bomb. Am I right?" He said with smug look on his face. It was 3/4 of figuring it out, and 1/4 knowing how Enigma acts. He picked up the cube, and twirled it on his finger, it fell off as he used the same hand to grab it. He also picked up the pill, and put it under his tongue. A great way to save it for the last minute. Never know when the effect might wear off.
"You did great sweetheart." He said while feeling ever so proud of his little girl. Until she said the Riddle. As good as she did, she didn't quite get the riddle game. 1. When committing crimes leave a riddle about the next target. 2. When escaping say what area you're escape from. 3. And the most important rule. Never, and I mean never, leave a riddle about the hideout, and only if it's good. That riddle is one for babies. The dark knight would figure it out in no time flat, hell even Batman's stupid lackeys could figure it out. "A swing, but a miss. You keep forgetting my 3 rules for riddles. I was expecting better from you. But then again you had been hanging around the lackyes of the Batman and they're idiotic." Those little brats weren't nearly as good as the original bat. From Dick, to Arthur brown's little girl.
He raised himself from his seat, and moved to the door before he left he turned around. "See in, ooh lets say a few minutes? Max 15 minutes." He said as he exited knocked on the door. The same guard took him back to his cell. He grabbed the puzzle out of his hand. "And what is this?"
"Ooh just a little gift from the girls for helping with the survey, it's one of those complex Chinese boxes. You have to press the squares in a certain order to open it. It holds a piece of bubble gum. I think it's..."
"Shut it Nigma, and get back in your cell!" The guard threw him into his cell, and threw the box in to. He launched himself forward to catch it before it hit the ground. The guard laughed as he was about to close the gate, Edward swallowed, and twisted the box, and threw it out again as the gas started coming out. "Phase one. Complete."

As Nigma worked out his escape, Enigma and the henchwomen were back in their familiar green costumes in the van just outside the Arkham walls. Enigma peeked out and studied the wall. They would need to blow it up as well to pick up the Riddler when he broke out. Before she could say anything, Echo had already pulled out the bomb. The henchwomen knew their boss all to well by now.
"Haha, awesome!" beamed Enigma. "Let's bomb that wall and get dad out!" Echo and Query rolled their eyes at the girl. The teen was learning the game, but she still could use a few lessons in patience. Echo then patted Enigma on the shoulder.
"Timing, kiddo, timing," she said. "You know how your father works. It's all about timing. If we blow up that wall before he works out his escape, this place will be swarmed with guards and cops. We'll all wind up in that place!"
"Oh...yeah...right," blushed Enigma. "Thanks, Echo."
"It's what I'm here for," smirked the henchwoman.

The gas had knocked out every guard in the corridor, and even some in the surrounding. At least he wouldn't have to deal with a inmate who would rat on him. That happens way sometimes around here. He picked up the cube again as he made his way to the storage. There was one thing he needed before he left. His trusty cane. He could just order a new one, but that would take a really long time to get. Plus it would have to be smuggled, and it would be just easier to steal it, then order a new one.
He walked to the storage as he twisted the cube a second time. The laser activated as he cut a hole in the door. One more twist. And Edward knew where he had to use the last charge. This place was mainly filled with knives, small fire-arms, and other knickknacks of the prisoners. Then of course there was a special section for the non curable. Riddler wouldn't steal any of the other villains stuff. They were just random junk anyway. He picked up his cane which was more metal, and square. It was more stronger metal then gold. Plus gold was just expensive, and people tried to steal it constantly. He always found it annoying.
He picked up his cane, and gave it a twirl. He threw it into the air as it was still spinning and grabbed it perfectly as it fell behind his back. He spun it again as he jabbed the far end of it into an oncoming guards stomach. He never saw the guard coming. That was his cue to leave. He snuck past back into his cell. The last place they would expect a prisoner to escape from, once he has gotten out of his cell. He twisted the cube one more time, and placed it by the wall. The signal would have been sent, and they would place the bomb. Edward looked out of the cell that hopefully no guard would come

The three saw the signal and Echo and Query turned to the Enigma. The teen was quite anxious to set off the bomb.
"Okay, kiddo, you can blow things up now," said Query. Enigma grinned and planted the bomb. Less than a moment later, it went off and a large section of the wall was destroyed.
She saw her dad in the distance, twirling his cane. She grabbed her own cane and proudly twirled it as well. But, as usual she lost her hold on it and it nearly hit Echo this time. The henchwoman caught it though and tossed it back.
"Your dad needs to give you some pointers on playing with that thing," she said.
"Sorry," blushed Enigma.
The time for talk and tricks was over. Echo got in the driver's seat and backed in the van to pick up the boss. Enigma flew a paper airplane with her "clever riddle" in it, but it flew into a nearby drain. Enigma sighed, but then shrugged. She was sure her dad was leave a better riddle behind anyway.

He smiled as the wall exploded. It made him happy that he twirled his cane, but before it he left he went into the hallway. Hopefully where the camera was working. It was blinking a red light. So it was working. "First I need to talk about my riddle. Money in the Bank you know this is the riddle. I bet One Million Dollars, that you won't know what is coming. But then again I''get Away in a Van." He stopped talking as he headed towards the camera, and struck it with his cane. Of course he was saying where he was going to strike. The first bank of Gotham. He was only going to steal one million dollars exactly, but it wasn't like they were going to figure it out.
He exited through the giant hole, and into the van. "Query I believe you have my costume."
"Here you go sir" She said handing him his suit nicely folded with his tie, and hat. Even a pair of glasses to go with it. "Now ladies turn around. Give a man some privacy." Query turned her back. "Echo I do see the rear view mirror." Echo moved the rear view mirror. He started changing out of his prison uniform, and started chaning into his suit. It didn't take long to put on his pants, and button up his shirt, Then the gloves, and tie, then the hat, and glasses. He was ready for business. "Ok Echo bring us to the hideout. I need to plan my first heist." He said with a sly grin on his face

Enigma wanted to give her father a great, big hug, but he was all business. She turned as well so he could change. The big smile was still on her face. The Riddler and Enigma... together again! Life couldn't be sweeter for the ex-Young Justice member.
"Boy, dad, we're going to take it to the Bat and all his Brats this time!" she exclaimed. "No more humiliations! No more jail time for me. No more Arkham for you! Did you leave those crazy doctors and big, fat guards a good riddle? I bet they'll never figure out and will Commissi-Derp Gordon will be like 'Wah, wah, Batman help us solve this because we're stupid'!" Enigma chuckled at this. This was going to be too fun.
It didn't take long to get to Penn Station, an abandoned subway stop, and it was a good thing that Enigma's riddle was lost. The group would need a place to prepare and plot without Batman snooping around. Enigma walked in, eager to show her dad what she and the henchwomen had done to the place. It was full of green lights, questions marks, and of course various technology, including a sizable computer with a big sign about it that said "The Riddler Box."
"How do you like it, dad?" she asked, twirling around and showing off the place. "Just like old times, huh?" Thought Enigma hadn't been around for a great deal of those old times, but she figured her father would have a sense of familiarity with it.

He chuckled a bit at Enigma's enthusiasm. He found it a bit when she called Gordon Commissi-Derp. The hell is a Commissi-Derp. At least she was smart enough to know that without the Batman Gordon would be the worst commissioner ever. In Edwards opinion he should just retire. Stop before he embarrasses himself by losing to a lower rate villain. Like maybe Zsasz, or one of those new villains walking around thinking they were all that. Something that was unlikely to happen, but was still all possible. Any who if anybody should embarrass Gordon it should be someone who spent a long time committing crime. Those are the ones who deserve it.
"I did leave something good for them don't you worry." He started laughing to himself. "Those fools will never work out the riddle. They will need help from the foolish Bat Family, and maybe not even them can figure it out. Only the real Batman should be able to figure it out. Thats the good thing on being on the Riddler team. You only need to think of complex riddle's never answer them. Always remember that." He said with a tone of smugness in his voice. He knew his riddles were the most complex he had ever known of. Even he figured something out which was even more impressive then Cluemaster, but he was always a good friend, and ally to Edward.
He followed closely behind as he was followed entered the new base. He did enjoy all the green lights, and question marks, but that was not that interested him. It was the super computer that they dubbed the Riddler box. He literally jumped into the seat, and started typing. He had already hacked into the security system, and downloaded a layout of the bank. "Query. Echo. Get out the bank heist kit. We'll need it, and Enigma. It's your turn to figure out a plan to heist the bank. If it's good enough well do it." He raised himself from the seat, and pulled it out for Enigma to sit down. It was always good to practice.

Whoa! Did Enigma's dad just say what she thought he said? That she could come up with the plan for a bank heist? Enigma wanted to flip around and scream with joy, but she knew all she would get was odd stares from the others. She had to play this cool. Also...she had to think. A stupid plan would not be accepted, and if it was, it would get them all caught. It was time for Enigma to put on her big girl pants and come up with a winner. The thing was, being put on the spot she couldn't think of a thing. Without the Riddler, she had been robbing small time places like convenient stores, fast food places, and the occasional fancy restaurant. She had yet to pull off a bank job. Still, she had been in banks at times to get change for the cash she had stolen in those other places, so she knew the lay out.
After pondering a while, she finally had a good idea form.
"Okay, I got it," she said. "There's four of us, right? That works to our advantage. We can cover all corners of the bank. Bank's usually only have one of two guards, so Echo and Query can take care of them. I can take care of the alarms and cameras. The girls have been teaching me how to do that and I've become pretty good at it. And then you, dad, and your unlimited genius are free to solve the riddle of the vault combination! How do you like it?"
Echo and Query looked at one another, then at Enigma. It was actually...a decent plan.

While she was figuring out the strategy he went to the mini fridge they had there. Something he told Query, and Echo to always include, and fully stocked. When you get out of prison, or insane asylums, there are a few things you want. One of those things is a decent meal. He took out one of those store made salads. Just to have something like that was an improvement, mind you he could afford all of the finest gourmet foods. Hell if Edward wanted to he could quit he could do it right know, but Edward wasn't going to do that. He couldn't stop till he had beaten Batman. Thats why he started anyway. He was going to prove that he was the best, and smartest detective, and criminal, in Gotham.
He had finished the salad, and threw it away properly. He actually took care of his hideouts, unlike the other villains. Easier to remove all evidence. Making it harder for them to knew he was ever there, but then of course he always left behind a riddle to say that he used this place, but the riddle itself kind of gave it away. So he always used the same riddle. Because the cops, and Batman himself didn't even bother to figure it out, and whats the use of figuring out a new riddle if they didn't even need to figure it out. How did he know this? When you leave something behind of every crime, every escape, every thing that isn't legal, it's kind of easy to figure it out without solving the riddle.
He rushed over as Enigma thought she got it. He listen carefully to her plan, and he had to say he was impressed. All his teachings had finally paid of. She had mastered something that all villainies mastermind need to know to be... Well a villainies mastermind. How to heist a bank. And Edward couldn't have been prouder. He looked at Query, and Echo who had joined in at listening to her plan, and looking at there faces both of them were impressed. I guess if they were impressed they meant it seeing as both of them stayed behind to take care of Enigma.
"Thats a good plan. Great work Enigma. We'll do the heist tomorrow night I need a good nights rest, and of course give them a chance to figure out the riddle."
(Want to make a new thread for the heist, and let MK, or Waffles be the hero to try, and stop us?)
